I went to Planned Parenthood yesterday because my insurance doesn’t cover family planning or even gynocologists. I went last week just to ask the nurses a question and for a FPLAN form for free birth control and she ended up getting me an appointment.
Yesterday at my appointment, I had to pee in a cup to test for pregnancy (obviously negative), blood drawn to test for STDs, and then they told me I qualified for the FPLAN and gave me my depo privera shot a few minutes later.
It was amazing how quickly they get things done.
AND IT WAS ALL FREE
